A lovely fall day – even though it’s been trying to rain most of the day.
I’m pretty sure this blanket of leaves will be gone by tomorrow as the wind’s picking up – makes you just want to jump right in and roll around.

Fresh Canada Day Breakfast
EB is flipping pancakes at the Vancouver PAL lodge’s annual Canada Day breakfast. While she’s doing that, I took a few minutes to do a little harvesting of our front yard strawberry patch.
A quick rinse and these will go into making a lovely Canada Day themed (red) breakfast parfait.
